"The Lonely Zebra is a beautiful, empowering, and important story! Zola the Zebra's best friend is moving away. Zach was the only animal in the savanna that would play with Zola away from the water hole because one of the other animals bullies her. When he is gone, Zola is left wishing her bully would learn to be nice. Her wish is granted when a Sara the swan appears to teach multiple important lessons. I love that this book models standing up for others, forgiveness, and inclusion. This book is absolutely adorable! The illustrations are cute and colorful.
